Everything about garment decoration
What is the best garment decoration technique?
There is no single best technique: it all depends on your design, the fabric and the quantity. Embroidery is the most elegant and durable, screen printing the most affordable for large runs, DTF the most versatile for colourful designs, and vinyl the best suited to names and numbers.
What is the difference between embroidery and printing?
Embroidery stitches your logo in thread: it has relief and a premium, very durable finish. Printing (screen printing, digital, DTF, sublimation) applies ink: it allows more colours, photos and large designs.
Which technique for a single item?
For a one-off, DTF transfers, digital printing, sublimation and vinyl are the best options, as they need no screens. Embroidery is also possible, with a slightly higher set-up cost.
Which technique for a large quantity?
For a large run with a design in a few colours, screen printing offers the best price per item. For a premium company logo, embroidery remains a safe choice.
Can several techniques be combined on one garment?
Yes, for example an embroidered chest logo with a large printed design on the back, or a sublimated sports shirt with vinyl names and numbers. We will recommend the best combination.
