The environment in danger.

A recent study by Greenpeace, an ambassador for ethical clothing, revealed that more than 80 billion pieces of clothing are produced each year. Three out of four of these parts end up in landfill or are destroyed. Unfortunately, only a quarter of these items are recycled.

The waste of textiles and water are just two of the main problems caused by the mass production of clothing. Textile dyeing remains the second largest polluter of clean water in the world, with around 1.7 million tonnes of chemicals used each year.
